Business Controller/Financial Analyst
What You Will Do
At Volvo Chile, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport sector, and society as a whole. You will:
Ensure the financial control, transparency, and profitability of Volvo Chile’s maintenance contract portfolio, guaranteeing compliance with accounting policies, proper risk management, and the delivery of key information for strategic decision-making in the aftermarket business.
- Ensure correct revenue recognition of maintenance contracts, aligned with IFRS and internal company policies.
- Monitor contract profitability, including margins, deviations, provisions, and lifecycle performance.
- Develop reports and dashboards for senior management, providing visibility on financial and operational KPIs for the contract portfolio.
- Maintain and update the risk matrix for the contract portfolio, ensuring proactive risk management aligned with corporate standards.
- Act as a financial advisor on the contract portfolio growth strategy, contributing analysis and key recommendations.
- Be responsible for the governance of maintenance contract follow-up, establishing standards, routines, and control mechanisms to ensure consistency and compliance.
You will be part of the Finance team at Volvo Chile , reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with specialists from Aftermarket, Services, Legal, Operations, and our network of Dealers.
It is a compact, multidisciplinary, and highly technical team where collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement are key. Who are you?

Education
Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
Experience (internal/external)
Ideally 3 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning, or Contract Management, preferably in automotive, trucks, heavy transport, or industrial services.
Language
Advanced English.
IT Knowledge
Ideally experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) , advanced Excel, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) .
Other
Ideally knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 15 – Revenue Recognition) and the automotive/truck industry, with strong analytical and risk management capabilities.
